Walking with you towards mental wellbeing, one step at a time.

a psychiatric medication management practice that cares about all of you

You are more than a collection of symptoms.

You are more than a diagnosis.

You are a complex and whole human being and you have a right to be seen.

Stacey Mietus has been a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) since 2014, working in private practice since 2019.

About me: I’m a psychiatric nurse practitioner - a prescriber - working with adults on the journey to mental wellbeing. As a prescribing clinician, medication is one support that we can use to scaffold the neural networks of mental wellbeing, but there are many other - equally important - non-medication supports we will discuss. Because I believe that healing happens in relationship, I integrate supportive psychotherapy at every visit, and I work from a foundation of neurobiology. I strive to honor you wherever you are on this path: I will listen actively and attend deeply; I will move at your pace; I will stay current on evidence-based practices; I will seek to see all of you as we work - together - to light your way forward. At Mental Wellbeing NP, I do not prescribe any controlled substances at all. No exceptions will be made. If you take a controlled substance - like a stimulant or benzodiazepine - I will be happy to refer you to another practice.
